Benefits of Membership

Your BCHS membership provides you with a variety of valuable benefits.

  • The Settler magazine - All members receive a subscription to our quarterly magazine of history and biography, The Settler. The publication features history and photographs from through Bradford County. Since 1952, this magazine has been educating the public about our county history. Check out the index of past issues by clicking here.
  • The Society Journal - All members receive this quarterly newsletter edited by Managing Curator, Matt Carl. It features news, announcements, reports, and other stories about recent events at the Bradford County Historical Society.
  • Free Research Privileges - All members (except Basic and Corporate) receive the privilege of using our vast Research Library without having to pay the research donation during each visit. If you anticipate spending several days at the library, or if you plan to return several times during the year, this benefit will save you a substantial amount of money. • An Invitation to our Annual Meeting - Each member receives an exclusive invitation to attend our Annual Meeting and program in the fall. This event highlights the activites of the historical society during the previous year, provides a dinner, and concludes with a fascinating program presented by a special speaker.
  • Support of Bradford County History - When you become a member you will receive a feeling of satisfaction for having done your part to help preserve the history and heritage of your community and your family.
